Thanks to  Coach Lee Holley for a great delivery  of Safeguarding and First Aid courses at our club in Bristol today .
The courses were both well very attended by coaches and CWO’s from clubs all over the Western area   allowing coaches to explore scenarios and upskill their knowledge in dealing with challenging situations that coaches and CWO’s may encounter .
Lee a serving Police Officer was able to offer a personal insight into real life situations and procedures making the Safeguarding which can be quite difficult and emotive subject into an interesting and interactive experience.
The First Aid Course followed , thanks to Japan  Arts Centre coach Dr Ollie Wilde an A&E doctor in Bristol who assisted Lee who is a Police medic .
Again , great to have input from those who deal with life saving decisions on a daily basis !
