About our club

Way back in 1987 Jo Hunt started a Junior Judo Club in the Vaughan Leisure Centre in Clifton, Bristol. In 1989 the club moved to the Japan Arts Centre in Jacob Wells Rd Clifton which remained our home until 2014 when the centre was sold, after 3 years at the Templegate Judo we were forced to move again when the premises was demolished. We have been based in the City Academy since Jan 2018 .  Due to Covid-19 restrictions from May 2021 we will be based at Faithspace , classes at City Academy are currently suspended 

 We are Police Sport UK Community club run by volunteers.

We welcome all members from 5 years of age upwards.

Visitors are always very welcome 

The club is affliated to the British Judo Association .
